Resident engagement day with Vico Homes

Before works start on a scheme, we like residents to meet the people who will be working on their homes. On this engagement day, CPM and Vico Homes set up on the estate green to walk residents through the external wall insulation and repointing programme ahead of the scaffold going up.

What residents sawInsulation board, mesh and render samples to handle, and photo boards of finished properties from earlier phases, so people could see the finish before choosing colours.

What we coveredThe sequence of works on each property, how long scaffold stays up, how we protect gardens and belongings, daily clean-down, and who to contact on site.

Why it mattersOccupied-housing retrofit goes smoothly when residents know what is coming. Days like this cut access refusals and complaints, and set the tone for the resident liaison our supervisors handle at the door throughout the scheme.
